Good Morning, Mr Brian Roberts:

  This email pertains to the issues that we had faced with the quality of service in the past and also during the recent times. Considering your busy schedule, I prefer not to take too much of your time. However, I would like to point out a couple of instances that led me to reach out to you. I am doing so considering the fact that you have been instrumental in building this company bottom up through hands-on and acquisition based strategies over the years, while trying to expand your father's legacy.

1. First one relates to an experience in the past where we noticed the speed was nowhere near the advertised speed. Being an Electrical Engineer myself, I ran various tests over the years, and the speed turned out to be not even half of what it should be. At one point, when I noticed a drastic difference, I contacted your support team, which resulted in an off-site speed test. This test determined an issue with the line that led to a technician coming afterwards. Upon technician's testing, I was informed that there were both upstream and downstream issues, and one of those got fixed, while the technician also noticed the issue across the neighboring unit, which resulted in him putting in a request for the line team to visit our premises. When this was brought up to the executive team member, who was assigned to address the issue afterwards, initially, the conversation appeared to match with what was stated by the technician. However, later the statements contradicted with the initial findings and also appeared to be distinctly different from what the technician had mentioned.

2. The second instance happened recently where we added a new phone line. As part of this addition, we were offered a set of promotions, which was confirmed repeatedly through chat transcript and follow up calls. However, after repeated calling, part of the promotional offer was added to the account. However, the other half still needs to be addressed. This entire experience has taken up a lot of my time and efforts. It is not about the money per se, but more about false promises. The issue of false promises has been brought up in the Consumer Reports before.

3. Lately, I am seeing issues with my voicemail not being able to play. Upon checking the forums and reaching out to the support center, this issue appears to be a repeating one with no clear solution, and the issue still needs to be addressed.

I have chat transcripts and email records for the first two, and a screenshot for the last one to support my claim. I would be more than happy to provide the same, if you would like.

Then started a series of issues - captured in this segment - only the key ones:

  • Government issued id and the database entry that was entered in the backend for the same did not match in a country known for its IT services
Tried to address this issue from my end by various proper channels and means, while I did not clear response from the other end. After prolonging for a while, suddenly that was not an issue any more. When I asked for further details, I never got any further information in this regard on how the issue was addressed, in spite repeatedly asking for the same.

I totally understand where you are coming from, however, it was disheartening to see this process taking such a long time. In terms of changing directors, that is not a feasible solution. When there are people with no connection holding companies in India and people of Indian origin holding companies and mansions in other countries while claiming to be bankrupt in India, I believe that I have all the rights to be the director over there just like there are Indians holding directorial position in entities based in other countries. Also, in this global space, I have seen individuals who are citizens of India registering companies in the US, at least as mentioned in their website or through loopholes available over here. For example, a company based in India, has supposedly units in Canada and the US, though it appeared that there was no connection between the nature of their business and what is stated in their website, and their connection to these countries.

Anyways, it is not even appropriate to bring up these examples, as it is better for us to compare those setting superlative examples rather than scoundrels cheating the system. 

See, my last email was from my recent experience not seeing any response from your team's side for almost a week or so, which made me wonder whether I have to forget the paid amount for this process. See, we started addressing this issue on April 6th, 2020 and it is almost two months now and we have not made any progress. I would like to know what can be done right now to resolve the issue and complete the remaining steps without changing the director.

The one solution that I tried was to get an international roaming package for Airtel, which I did, but was never activated. I would like to know whether your team know of someone who could help to get this line activated. In this way, I should be able to get an OTP to change from father's name to mother's name online, which would allow us to complete the online application process for changing the name.
 
By the way, I forgot to include that Mr Akshay Kumar (Rajiv Hari Om Bhatia), who has made a name for himself in Bollywood from humble beginnings,  is a Canadian citizen on paper and Amy Jackson and several other actors, who acted in Indian movies in the recent times are citizens of other countries. These names are being shared just as examples of successful individuals with connections to other parts of the world. For that matter, Mr Akshay kumar interviewed Mr Modi prior to the last elections on an one on one face the people session.

What is an apostille document?
To verify the authenticity of the submitted document, it is mandatory to get the documents notarized with an approved notary public followed by getting it authenticated and validated by the local governmental organization, which here in the US happens to be the Secretary of State, through approved methods.

Before we jump in, please check out this email - This extension in deadlines was never brought up by the third-party or in any of the previous emails sent by MCA as a response to our application (June 2nd email, . As per this email response from MCA that I received on July 4th, there was an official announcement on extension made way back in April 2020. Though we had no plans to prolong the process from our end, this information would have alleviated in terms of increased anxiety and stress that came from extending the deadlines every time as per the issued deadlines in MCA's email, while also trying to push from our end to complete other relevant requirements such as, getting the documents notarized,

Just to be certain that the DSC documents are signed in line with the requirements, shall we go through the sequence as we had done during the previous dozen or so times? If yes, we can utilize a remote sharing tool as we had done before. I would like to be certain that there is no mistake on this front to prevent any additional delays.

I spoke to an official at the government agency here with regard to the apostille documents again today and they have received the resent package. Though they had mentioned that it will be sent out today after completion of the apostille process, it appears that it will be available for pick up tomorrow. As there are restrictions for drop-ins, from then on, it solely depends on the shipping company. 

I will try to reach the shipping company as well tomorrow to make sure that the package gets picked up tomorrow.

By the way, I noticed an article in Economic times about 20 day extension for some MCA related processes due to Covid-19. Can you look into this?

FYI - 

In the chronological order email that I had shared a few days ago, I forgot to include the first email pertaining to MOA and AOA that I had sent to your team during the early phase of this communication stream.  I have had experience of putting together MOA and AOA documents for our US registration years ago, which helped me to put together the first draft that I had shared with Abarna (Please see attached image file). 

The below thought pertaining to MOA and AOA is being shared not to point fingers. However, during the current global crisis, every small focused step could make a difference. 

If I had received the MOA and AOA from you the next day rather than after three days, it could have given us extra two/three days. For that matter, we went through the specifics and wordings in MOA and AOA when we initially worked on it. If you had said that we could utilize the same documents, which happened to be the same document that you had sent at the end, it would have given an extra few days for completing this process.

Anyways, let us make this work and complete the registration of AmazeBaba and its Affiliates, a bending baba eCommerce platform for a better world, followed by the registration of the trademarks soon. I will wait for your email in the morning for us to complete the next process.

By the way, here is the information on the extension of submission by 20 days (please see attached screenshot).

Notarization of the documents: 

I took the services of a local UPS center that is a known entity for this purpose. After getting the documents notarized, I had mailed by one of the quickest means to meet the deadline set forth, thus paying more than five times the normal shipping price for the same for the reason shared above, which is to meet the deadline set forth in those MCA emails, though it turned out to be not the case (as found later through my research means) due to the extension of deadlines for Covid-19.

What happened then with respect to this apostillation process? 
We will see that in the next article.

PART-I: OUR GLOBAL BUSINESS REGISTRATION FILING EXPERIENCE

We are working on filing our company in an Asian country and tried to follow all the rules outlined for such registration process. The company hired for this process, as this is the norm suggested nowadays to go through such processes though there is a push for direct streamlined online processes across board in the country, were given all necessary details and payments in the first week of March. 

We also added additional documents as and when we were requested  We also are trying to file three trademark applications after the completion of the process, which has not happened yet either. There were several road blocks brought up during this process with one major one being the PAN card of one of the directors not matching with the PAN database, though three of the related issued identity records matched with each other. 

It made us wonder how the database which is used in the first place would mismatch with the physical document provided through this database. After repeated contacts, all of a sudden after trying back and forth almost a dozen times or so, one specific form that was holding us back went through as per information shared by the third-party company, which is looking into this registration process. 

Is it the end of the story?
Then, after this delay, again all of a sudden, we were asked to produce apostille documents for one of the directors within a short period of time by the government agency when there was commotion and unrest in the city where our primary location of residence is. Added to it, with lock down due to global pandemic, it further complicated the situation. By the way, we had offered to produce the same documents upfront to the third-party processor, a couple of months prior to this initiation by the government agency. 

The level of complication heightened when the documents to be apostilled did not reach us until after three days after the letter from the government agency came through, though the document turned out to be the same as what was submitted before.

Anyways, we have done the needful and have submitted the documents that needs to be apostilled to the agency in-charge for this purpose after getting those documents notarized as per the requirements. We will produce the same as soon as we receive the apostilled documents to complete this process.

Stay tuned - Story to be cont'd ..... What happened next? 
  • Did the apostille documents come on time? 
  • Was there any issue with the notary signature?
  • What happened to the shipping package? Was it picked up and delivered on time?
Again, more twists and turns in this story. Funny, but a real one.

3. May I know what made the application go through this time, which is important for me to know considering the unnecessary delay and anxiety that came with this delay in process for no fault of mine? - I tried the process again, nothing new was done

There were all kinds of delays last week. However, in my case, it appeared that no one from the shipping company went to pick up the package for at least a couple of days if the packet was really ready for pick up as per the officials whom I spoke to over the phone, though I paid for one of the faster ways to ship the package and receive the return package. Then, I had to find the company Chicago hub's contact number and got hold of someone, who helped in sending a driver to pick it up on Wednesday. 

I also found out that the government agency does not keep track whether the packages get removed or not from their end, and the only information that they mentioned was the package was dropped in the mail box.  That entire mishap resulted in further delay by three more days. Furthermore, the package was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, but for some reasons, it got struck at a local center that evening on Thursday and did not get delivered until Friday. Moreover, if the government officials had informed me about the issue with the notary signature when I had called on Monday, I could have gone through the process again on the same day to resubmit the forms and we would have received the package by the end of the week. Anyways, I don't have control over either their actions or any other involved parties actions. I did my best that I could to move this process along.

May I know what I need to do with the apostille documents once received?

I will look for the same email. If possible, please check with ##### on this one and if you could track those images, resend it to me. Hello Mr Srikanth,

Here are the answers to your following queries :

1) Stamp duty cost will only change if the initial capital is more than Rs 1,00,000. Below Rs 1,00,000 will not make any changes in stamp duty charges.
2) As per out telephonic conversion I have the checked the following name (VAL-U-PRO CONSULTING GROUP;Amazebaba and its affiliates;AAAAA mega ecosystem)
for trademark application under class 35 , and I couldn't find anyone having the same name.
3) In addition , IMESSENGER under class 38 (telecommunication ) was also not found matching with anyone.
